About Summit to Summit

Summit to Summit is a 7.2-mile Run/Walk that starts on the Summit Christian College campus, heads up to the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitors Center, climbs up to the top of the bluffs, and then returns to the campus for one monumental challenge!

The event also includes a benefit pancake breakfast served by the Summit Christian College Alumni Association, and lots of family fun!

* This is a family-friendly event, therefore for the safety and comfort of all our participants, no dogs/pets will be allowed on the trail during the event.

Whether a seasoned runner, casual walker, or somewhere in between, Summit to Summit is a challenge for all!

The run is a beautiful but very challenging course, which rivals races such as the BolderBOULDER and the Warrior Dash. In the past, our winning runners have complete the 7.2-mile course in an average of 45 minutes,.

The timed walk follows the same route, offering less strenuous exercise. Walkers can complete the course at stroll pace in under two hours.

All participants are timed, so you can race the clock, race each other, or  challenge yourself.

Last year, we had 100+ registered participants. We hope to see similar numbers in this year's event. We have hired RaceRite to professionally time the race with microchips, which will contribute to a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.
